CHIEF Commissioner of State Taxes Babu A highlighted the positive growth in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for February 2025, signaling strong economic activity and improved tax compliance.
The gross GST collections for February showed a 3.79% increase compared to the same month last year.
This growth is particularly significant for Andhra Pradesh, which achieved a higher rate than Telangana, which recorded a modest 1% increase. Despite many agricultural products being exempt from GST, Andhra Pradesh's growth is a positive sign for its economy, which heavily relies on agriculture.
