'Edu a powerful tool for women to face social challenges'

PALLAVI C T Ravi, wife of MLC C T Ravi, said that education has been a powerful tool for the women to face social challenges in the present situation.
Inaugurating the general body special meeting of Zilla Vokkaliga Mahila Sangha and the International Women's Day event at the Vokkaligara Bhavan here, she said women today enjoy special position and status on account of education and added mother is the first guru for girls as she teaches them culture and religion.
She laid stress on the unity in the organisation and called upon the members to show Matru Shakti (power of Mother).
