A study by WeNaturalists, a global platform for climate and nature professionals, in its report released on Thursday said that while metros like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Kolkata continue to lead in green job listings and applicant volume, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are also showing a surge in green jobs.

States like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Delhi-NCR have emerged as the most active green career ecosystems, said the report titled 'Green Job Demand Surges 48%, Led by Gen Z and Tier 2-3 Cities'.
