What are the unique strengths or focus areas that set IIT Bhilai apart? IIT Bhilai is one of the young IITs of the country. Established in 2016, we are proud to have achieved several goals in less than a decade: NEP 2020 curriculum compliance, sponsored project outlay of Rs 180 crore, being selected as "category A" Technology Innovation Hub under NMICPS programme of DST, successfully operating inter-disciplinary departments such as Mechatronics, Electric Vehicle Technologies, Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, to mention a few.
