Operation Sindoor: Security beefed up around reservoirs

IN wake of the attack on terrorist camps and targeted strikes in Pakistan occupied Kashmir by Indian Army, the state government has followed the advisory issued by the Centre and beefed up the security around the Krishnaraja Sagar reservoir.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said the state government has carried out mock drills in the state.
He said they have alerted the police across the state and stepped up vigil and security in and around the reservoirs as a precautionary measure.
He said Muzrai Minister B Ramalinga Reddy held a talk with him and has directed to offer special puja in all the temples praying for the success and safety of the forces and their families.
