Abhimanyu to Carry Golden Howdah This Dasara

The forest department on Thursday released the first list of nine elephants which will participate in the Mysuru Dasara Jamboo Savari.
For the sixth consecutive time, 59-year-old Abhimanyu will carry the golden howdah. Gajapayana will start on August 4 from Veerana Hosahalli near Hunsur, forest, environment and ecology minister Eshwar B Khandre said on Thursday.
