Udupi DC expresses concern over land acquisition delay in highway project

UDUPI DC Vidya Kumari K expressed concern over the delayed land acquisition process for the highway stretch from Karavali Junction to Malpe, a part of the NH-169A road stretch.

The DC instructed the officials present in the meeting to conduct a progress review of the road work every 15 days as the land acquisition process is on a slow track. She said she would hold the officials concerned accountable if the process was not completed in 10 days. She directed revenue department officials and National Highway engineers to ensure fair compensation to landowners, complete the acqui
