Shalini Valencia to be conferred with Konkani Lekhak award

KONKANI Lekhak Sangh Karnataka, a voluntary association formed with the sole intention of promoting Konkani language and literature, has chosen Konkani writer Alice Fernandes (Shalini Valencia) for 2025 Konkani Lekhak Sangh award.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, convener of the Sangha Richard Moras said the award will be conferred at a function which will be held on February 15 at 6.30pm on Sandesha Premises in Mangaluru. The award carries a cash prize of ₹25000, a citation and a memento.
