Model Primary School to Hold Centenary Celebrations

The Government Model Primary School in Shanthalli of Kodagu will observe its centenary celebration in the coming days.
Several programmes are planned as part of the celebrations, and the school is looking forward to more admissions in the future.
Established in 1924, the school has stood the test of time. Thousands of students who have studied in this school hold good societal positions. But, the institution is now struggling to cope with the changing times. In the past, around 300 students had taken admission for an academic year, but now, the number of admissions has come down to 22. Nevertheless, the institution still strives to ensure every child gets an education.
