KUIDFC seeks EoT for 24x7 water project

It sought extension till December 2025
The Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), which is implementing the 24x7 water supply project in Mangaluru city, has sought Extension of Time (EoT) till December 2025, in order to fully commission the project.
This is the second EoT being sought by the KUIDFC after it missed the previous two deadlines after the initial delay in the start of the works on the project due to Covid pandemic. At a meeting chaired by Mangaluru Mayor Manoj Kumar, KUIDFC officials blamed the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) not giving permission to lay the pipeline along NH-169 between Kulshekar and Baiturli leading to the delay in the implementation of the project.
