Aboobakar Appointed as Nat'l Prez of INTUC's PDWF

ABOOBAKAR, a former trustee of the New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) and resident of Surathkal, Krishnapura, has been elected as the national president of the INTUC's Port and Dock Workers Federation.
Aboobakar's post as the national president was confirmed during a special general meeting held recently in Mumbai, where he was chosen unopposed. On his arrival at Mangalore International Airport on Wednesday, he was warmly received by the residents of Surathkal and Krishnapura.
