34-Yr-Old Man Gets Rigorous Life Imprisonment for Killing Relative

A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment after the district court in Mangaluru found him guilty of murdering a relative.
Siddiq, a resident of Kelagina Karla in Tenkakajekaru village in Bantwal taluk was the convict. Siddiq had a personal rivalry with Mohammad Rafeeq (20), his relative and a neighbour, and was conspiring to kill him. On September 12, 2021, Siddiq had been to Rafeeq's house, had tea together and played shuttle as usual at 4 pm. Around 6 pm, he convinced Rafeeq and took him to a secluded forest area near the rubber plantation towards Kakkepadavu and stabbed him with a knife.
