Elathur residents come out against Rlys for blocking access to station

Barriers restricting access to pocket roads have been causing inconvenience to commuters

A group of residents protested against the railway authorities on Monday for blocking the access route in and around the Elathur railway station. The protesters voiced their opposition, demanding their fundamental right to movement be restored.

According to the protesters, railway authorities recently erected barriers, restricting access to the different pocket roads, causing significant inconvenience to commuters. Many residents, including elderly individuals and students, rely on these roads for their travel and the blockade has severely disrupted their routines.
