NCERT survey shows students beyond Class 6 outperform those from other boards in academic capabilities
STUDENTS in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools across the country are way ahead of those in other boards in academic skills, a nationwide survey has revealed. The survey, conducted among students of classes 3, 6 and 9 shows that, while the academic capabilities of students remained at par at the primary levels, CBSE students comprehensively outperform students from other boards as they progress to higher classes, as per the detailed survey document accessed by this newspaper.
The 'Paraksh Rashtriya Sarveshan 2024', carried out by the NCERT on behalf of the Ministry of Education in 36 States and UTs last year, was made public recently.
