KAAPA Accused Who Ditched BJP to Join CPM Deportated From P'Thitta

The 25-year-old is also accused in several criminal cases, including attempt to murder
The Pathanamthitta police have prohibited a KAAPA case accused and ‘known rowdy’ who joined the CPM at an event last year, from entering the district.
According to the police, accused Saran Chandran, 25, alias Idli, has been deported from the district for one year under KAAPA. Before joining the CPM, Saran was an active BJP worker.
The order against him was issued by Thiruvananthapuram Range DIG Ajitha Begum, following a report submitted by District Police Chief V G Vinod Kumar on December 17.
