'Eye in the Sky' to precisely predict rain up to two hours in advance with localised details

The weather forecasting landscape is undergoing a significant transformation with the support of artificial intelligence that enables precise predictions of rain up to two hours in advance, that too with localised details. The Institute for Climate Change Studies (ICCS) in Kottayam that functions under the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), has developed an innovative AI-based platform, 'Eye in the Sky' ICCS Nowcasting System, designed to deliver real-time rain forecasts.
