WALKING through the corridors of SDV Boys Higher Secondary School in Alappuzha town, one can spot collections of posters at different points. The school calls them permanent galleries. Each is aimed at spreading awareness on a specific subject.
One of them is dedicated entirely to anti-drug abuse awareness. It has posters and photos, set up by the school management and the parent-teacher association (PTA), detailing the negative implications of drug use, its economic and social consequences, health hazards, and other relevant topics.
