Tripura Declared India's 3rd 'Fully Literate' State

TRIPURA was on Monday declared 'fully literate', only the third state to achieve this milestone after Goa and Mizoram, based on the data of the 'Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society' (ULLAS). A state or union territory is granted the status when it achieves over 95% literacy.
