INDRAJITH Sukumaran's Dheeram has completed filming after a 47-day-long shoot. Directed by debutant Jithin T Suresh, the upcoming film is an investigative crime thriller featuring Indrajith as a police officer. It is scripted by Deepu S Nair and Sandeep Sadanandan, the duo who previously penned Dhyan Sreenivasan's Ore Mukham and the Siju Wilson-Balu Varghese starrer Pushpaka Vimanam. They are also writing Aju Varghese's upcoming film Padakkuthira.
Shot across Kozhikode and Kuttikkanam, Dheeram also features Pani-fame Sagar Surya, Aju Varghese, Divya Pillai, Vijayaraghavan, Reba Monica John, Roshan Basheer and Nishanth Sagar in prominent roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Sougandh Su, editing by Nagooran Ramachandran, and music composed by Manikandan Ayyappa. It is produced by Remosh MS under the banner of Remo Entertainmentz in association with Haris Amabazhathingal of Malabar Talkies banner.
Indrajith will next be seen in L2: Empuraan, which is slated for release on March 27. The film reunites him with Mohanlal and his actor-director brother Prithviraj Sukumaran. The Amen actor also has Deepu Karunakaran's Mr and Mrs Bachelor, co-starring Anaswara Rajan, as part of his upcoming slate. Additionally, he has completed filming an untitled Hindi film directed by Anurag Kashyap, marking his Bollywood debut.
ANUSHREE Das and Saumyananda Sahi's debut feature film Baksho Bondi (Shadowbox) is a moving exploration of a wounded family—an ex-soldier Sundar (Chandan Bisht) suffering from PTSD, his teenage son Debu (Sayan Karmakar) who loves him as much as he gets embarrassed by him. Last but not least is the wife-mother Maya (Tillotama Shome) single-handedly trying to hold things together, getting no support from her own mother and brother and doing several odd jobs to make ends meet. Sundar's sudden disappearance and a murder investigation bring things to a head for the rest.

WHEN A CLEAN-UP BECOMES A MESS
A year ago, the idea of a massive nationwide exercise to visit every single household to verify, add, or delete voters was not on anyone’s radar. Chief Election Commi sioner Gyanesh Kumar took charge in February 2025 and, for three months, did not utter the term ‘special intensive revision’ (SIR). Suddenly, one day in June, the CEC announced a nationwide SIR beginning with Bihar. Why so suddenly and so hastily?
