Weeks after finalising the star-studded cast of Avengers: Doomsday, it has been officially announced that principal photography on the film has commenced.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo confirmed the news with a social media post captioned "Day One," featuring a photograph of a chair bearing the name "Victor Von Doom." While the post was subtle, it is understood that Robert Downey Jr.'s scenes are now being filmed, as he is set to portray the villain character, better known as Doctor Doom.
