THE UDF Kalpetta Constituency Committee has started a day-night strike led by MLA T Siddique in front of the Wayanad Collectorate to protest against the neglect of the Union and state governments towards the Mundakkai-Chooralmala disaster victims.
THE UDF Kalpetta Constituency Committee has started a day-night strike led by MLA T Siddique in front of the Wayanad Collectorate to protest against the neglect of the Union and state governments towards the Mundakkai-Chooralmala disaster victims. They also allege that the government's mismanagement and negligence have resulted in delayed and non-implementation of rehabilitation. The Collectorate siege, led by landslide victims and UDF workers, will be inaugurated by MP E T Muhammed Basheer on Friday morning.
KPCC Political Affairs Committee member and MLA Sunny Joseph inaugurated the strike on Thursday.
