KANNUR Madayi College witnessed high drama on Saturday morning as Congress workers blocked the path of Congress MP M K Raghavan in protest against alleged corruption in the posting of an attender in the college.
The college, managed by a cooperative society chaired by Raghavan, has become the centre of controversy following accusations of nepotism and bribery.
The protest erupted over claims that Raghavan sought to appoint a relative, who is reportedly a CPM supporter, to one of the two attender posts vacant at the college.
