FROM a position of despair, Kidambi Srikanth is now in a position of strength. On Friday, the ace shuttler from India, who has largely been a pale shadow of his former self for the better part of the last two years or so, notched up his fifth straight victory in four days.
His latest success over Toma Junior Popov, a World No 18 shuttler from France, helped the Indian enter the semifinals of the ongoing Malaysia Masters, a Super 500 event on BWF World Tour.
