Patil Says V'pura Sacrificed for Almatti Dam's Construction, But Others Are Enjoying Benefits

Stating that Mumbai-Karnataka region also needs special funds for the development of its backward taluks, Congress MLA of Indi taluk, Yeshwantraigouda Patil urged the government to set up development boards on the lines of Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board.

"Many MLAs of this region believe that we too need a similar board for the development of backward taluks. We will not only raise this demand in the coming assembly session, but since the government is planning to hold a special cabinet meeting in Vijayapura, we will ask the government to make an announcement in this regard in the Cabinet meeting," he said.
