Grand Religious Fair to Begin in Shindholi from Tomorrow

NILAJI gram panchayat president Satish Shahapurkar announced that a grand fair dedicated to Goddess Mahalaxmi, Goddess Durga, and Masana Devi will be held in Shindholi village of Belagavi taluk from April 22 to 30.
Speaking at a press conference here in Belagavi on Saturday, Shahapurkar said, "The fair, being organised after 14 years, will be conducted in a secular and apolitical manner, with all necessary arrangements already in place. The celebrations will commence on April 22 at 9 am with the inauguration of the Mahalaxmi Temple by Member of Parliament Jagadish Shettar. Later in the evening, at 4 pm, the deity will be ceremoniously placed in a chariot and taken on a traditional procession. This will be followed by devotional singing led by women at 8 pm."
