Joshi alleges Congress hand in conspiracy to defame Dharmasthala

UNION Minister for Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs and New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi has alleged that somebody in the state government and the Congress party were the force behind the conspiracy to defame Dharmasthala, adding that if all the names surfaced in the issue were arrested, the real truth would come out.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Minister Joshi criticised the way in which the issue was handled by the Siddaramaiah government and the investigation being conducted by the Special Investigation Team. Initially, the government erred by forming the SIT without probing the anonymous persons who brought the skull, now trying to hush up the case, fearing that its misdeeds could be exposed, he charged.
