Dharmasthala: Complainant records statement in court

THE complainant in the Dharmasthala mass burials case recorded his statement before the Court of the Principal Civil Judge & JMFC, Belthangady Taluk, Dakshina Kannada on Friday.
He recorded his statement under Section 183 of BNSS (Section 164 of the CrPC).
Ojaswi Gowda and Sachin Deshpande, advocates representing the complainant, stated in a press note that they were clearly told by the complainant beforehand that one of them should be present in the Court while he was recording his statement.
