At KERC regional-level meet, people oppose power tariff hike proposal

THE Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) held a Kalaburagi regional-level meeting with consumers and organisations here on Monday to elicit the opinion on the revision of power tariff in the state from 2025-26 to 2027-28 under the chairmanship of its president P Ravikumar.
While the GESCOM pleaded for the upward revision of the power tariff, the organisations stiffly opposed the proposal for the revision.
