12 TN Fishers Arrested by Lankan Navy Return Home

TWELVE fishermen from Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai districts who were arrested by the Sri Lankan authorities in November for allegedly crossing the maritime boundary returned to Nagapattinam on Thursday.
The crew, including 11 from Nagapattinam and one from Mayiladuthurai, ventured into the sea in a mechanised boat from the Nagapattinam fishing harbour on November 10. The Sri Lankan Navy apprehended them while fishing a few nautical miles southeast of Kodiyakarai (Point Calimere) on November 11. The navy also seized their boat, f
