SIHS Colony-Ondipudur ROB works delayed

Work resumed in 2023 after a gap of 10 years, but was again halted in January this year due to payment issues
THE completion of SIHS Colony-Ondipudur Rail Overbridge (ROB) in the city has been delayed again as works have been halted for the past two weeks due to wage payment issues.
However, the issues have now been sorted and workers would return to work on Monday. The state highways department, which has been constructing the 700-metre flyover at an estimated cost of ₹55 crore, said that they have completed about 85% of the work and would finish the remaining work by April 30.
