The management of JIPMER institute in Puducherry recently issued an urgent circular cancelling all the leaves and vacations of its employees, to ensure operational readiness and uninterrupted delivery of services amid the escalating tensions between India and
the first half of it curtailed, requiring all faculty members to return to work by May 13. The second half of the vacation, originally set to commence on May 17, has been cancelled.
