EU nations say worried as India joins ‘Zapad’ in Russia

DESPITE the European countries expressing concern regarding the multinational exercise Zapad 2025, the Indian military participated in field exercises jointly organised by Russia and Belarus.
Reports indicate that the United States also joined the exercise. The nations along Eastern Europe had been watchful regarding the maneuvers.
It was around Zapad-2021 that the Russian troops moved westwards and is said to have played a role in waging conflict with Ukraine.
