BoM profit rises 23% on higher interest income

PUNE-BASED public sector lender Bank of Maharashtra on Tuesday reported a 23.1% year-on-year growth in net profit at %1,633 crore for the September quarter, boosted by a healthy core income.
The lender said its net interest income rose 15.71% YoY to 23,248 crore. The bank, which already has the lowest nonperforming assets (NAPs) among public sector banks, report
