DGGI Closes GST Proceedings Against Infosys

In a major relief for Infosys, the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) has closed the pre-show cause notice proceedings related to an alleged ₹32,403 crore non-payment of Integrated GST (IGST) under the Reverse Charge Mechanism for the financial years 2018-19 to 2021-22.
The IT services major disclosed this development in a stock exchange filing on Thursday, stating that the matter is now fully closed. The closure follows earlier communications from DGGI, including a similar
