BMRCL asks depts to shift utilities soon

AS work on Twin city metro rail project is set to get on ground, the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has asked all line departments concerned to expedite measures for shifting of utilities from the stretch that the elevated corridor will pass through.
Official said light posts, traffic signal posts, cables and transformers, optical fibre cable, traffic surveillance system and other such utilities need to be shifted prior to commencement of the project work. The TPCODL, Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited and other agencies concerned have been communicated in this connection.
