Counterfeit currency racket: 10 held in Annamayya

ANNAMAYYA police on Monday arrested 10 people involved in a counterfeit currency racket, SP V Vidyasagar Naidu said.
The arrests followed a complaint lodged by Naveen Kumar, Manager of Lucky Wine Shop at Sivvarapalli in Vayalpadu, after a man attempted to purchase liquor using a fake ₹500 note. The incident occurred on June 26 when Shaik Kalesha Valli tried using counterfeit currency at the shop. Recognising him from a previous attempt involving two fake notes, Naveen Kumar confronted Kalesha, who fled. Sus
