Vinay Tonse joins Yes Bank as CEO-designate

YES BANK on Thursday said Vinay Muralidhar Tonse has joined as its managing director & chief executive-designate effective immediately, following an approval from the RBI.

Tonse has been appointed for a three-year term from April 6, 2026 and will succeed Prashant Kumar who has been at the helm as the MD & CEO from March 2020 when he was handpicked to rescue the bank from sinking. Both Kumar and Tonse are ex-SBI officials.
