Uproar after more than ‘21L dead voters in Bengal rolls identified’

SOURCES inside the Election Commission of India (ECI) say more than 21 lakh dead voters have already been identified in West Bengal during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls till Monday afternoon.
North 24-Parganas has logged the highest number so far, with over 2.75 lakh dead voters, followed by West Bardhaman and South 24-Parganas, where 1.57 lakh and 1.39 lakh dead voters, respectively, have been flagged, according to senior officials.
