State farmers hold marches against bills

FARMERS under the banner of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Monday held tractor marches at several places across Punjab, demanding the withdrawal of the Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2025, the Seeds Bill, repeal of labour codes, restoration of MGNREGA and a legal guarantee for minimum support price.
SKM had called for the march on Republic Day, recalling the 2021 farmers’ protest. BKU chief Harinder Singh Lakhowal said
