RBI to issue guidelines on mis-selling

THE Reserve Bank will issue a comprehensive set of norms on advertising, marketing and sales to the entities under its watch to help prevent the rising instances of mis-selling of financial products and services to consumers, apart from reviewing the instructions related to the conduct of recovery agents and loan recovery processes they employ, and issue harmonised instructions in this regard.
