Coco Chanel time and again rejected the rules of luxury by embracing black. The 'Reach for the Stars' collection pays tribute to the brand's three emblematic symbols: the comet, wings and the lion. Coco's astrological sign, Leo, which she had roaring on suit buttons, became the emblem of Chanel Haute Joaillerie in 2012.
