Newspaper office in Jammu raided, cops say weapons seized; 4 more in NIA net

THE National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday formally took custody of four accused involved in the November 10 blast outside Red Fort in Delhi, taking the total number of arrests in the case to six.

The four accused were taken into custody by the NIA in Srinagar on production orders from the District Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court, New Delhi. The accused were arrested by the J&K Police.

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the J&K Police raided the Jammu office of Kashmir Times. Sources said that SIA officials searched documents and digital devices in the newspaper’s office in connection with FIR No. 02/2025, registered under Section 13 of the Unlawful Act for allegedly propagating content detrimental to the country’s sovereignty.

“During today’s raid, one revolver, 14 empty cases of AK-series weapon, three live AK rounds, four fired bullets, three grenade safety levers, and three suspected Pistol rounds (apparently) were recovered from Kashmir Times office,” an SIA spokesperson said.
