Net direct tax revenue grows by 18.3% to ₹11.25 lakh crore

NET direct tax collection increased by 18.3%, reaching ₹11.25 lakh crore as of October 10 this fiscal year, according to the government data released on Friday.

The total revenue includes personal income tax collections of ₹5.98 lakh crore and corporate tax collections of ₹4.94 lakh crore. Additionally, the Securities Transaction Tax (STT) amounted to ₹30,630 crore, while other taxes, which encompass the equalization levy and gift tax, contributed ₹2,150 crore.
