Manipur govt seeks Army help to trace missing man, schools & colleges reopen

THE Manipur government on Friday sought help from the Army to find out a 56-year-old man reported missing from the Leimakhong camp in the Kangpokpi district on November 25, even as educational institutes reopened in Imphal valley and Jiribam district.

Addressing a press conference, CM N Biren Singh said that the state government had sought the Army's help to track missing Laishram Kamalbabu Singh, who is from the Meitei community. He is from Loitang Khunoy locality falling under the Sekmai Assembly segment. Earlier, an FIR was lodged over his disappearance.
