‘THE snatch lift has perennially been the Achilles’ heel of star Indian weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu.
Despite winning the World Championships (48kg) in 2017 and a silver medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics (49kg), the Manipur lifter’s personal best in the snatch section was 88kg.
