Inter-state Lashkar module busted, 7 B'deshis arrested

DELHI Police's Special Cell has arrested eight people in raids across Delhi, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, dismantling a module of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, an official said on Sunday.
Seven of the accused are Bangladeshi nationals who allegedly entered India illegally using forged identity documents. They were recruited and handled by a trained Kashmiri LeT operative operating from Bangladesh, police said.
According to police, the module was being handled by Shabir Ahmad Lone alias Raja alias Kashmiri, a trained LeT terrorist from Jammu & Kashmir who was earlier arrested by the Special Cell in 2007 in a case involving recovery of arms and ammunition, including an AK47 rifle and grenades.
