Gold prices to rise by 15-30% in 2026: WGC

GOLD prices could surge by 15-30% in 2026 if a severe, synchronised global downturn, fuelled by escalating geopolitical tensions, would intensify flight-to-safety trades, World Gold Council, a body of 30 gold mining companies, said in its latest report on Thursday.
It, however, says if a renewed economic expansion forces the Fed to pause or even raise rates, higher yields and a stronger dollar could drive a 5-20% correction in gold as investors rotate into risk ass
