ASI invites applications for morning walk passes

THE Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Thrissur Circle has invited applications for morning walk passes at Bekal Fort for individuals who wish to take morning walks at the historic fort of Kasaragod.

The permission for the morning walk in the Bekal fort comes at a time when Bekal is becoming the tourist hub of north Kerala and is expected to attract the attention of the local residents.
The morning walking passes will help to foster a sense of ownership among local residents, encouraging them to view Bekal Fort as not just a tourist destination but also a community asset.
Time allowed for morning walkers shall be 1 hour 30 minutes, starting from 6am. Fee for morning walker shall be charged ₹50 per month.
