Hunt drawing on past lessons to guide City's fairytale start

DURBAN City head coach Gavin Hunt believes his side’s strong start to life in the Betway Premiership is proof that experience can steady even the most ambitious of newcomers.
Four games into their maiden topflight campaign, City have already collected eight points out of a possible 12.
Their latest outing was a hard-fought goalless draw away to Polokwane City on Tuesday, a result that stretched their tally of clean sheets to three.
For a club still learning the rhythm of the Premiership, the foundations appear solid.
Hunt, who at 61 has seen it all in South African football, has been here before.
His four league titles are well documented, but so too are his successful stints guiding newly promoted sides into stability. He says Durban City’s early resilience reminds him of those past experiences.
