Offering tailored loan packages with easy repayment terms
COUGHLANS Jewellers (PTY) Ltd was established in 1910 by L.C. Coughlan.
The first store was located at 100 Grey Street in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Initially Coughlans provided cash for individuals through the purchasing of their gold and diamonds.
After seeing a need for lending, Coughlans branched into cash loans using gold & gold jewellery as collateral. As it grew, the company relocated to West Street where it continued to serve the greater Durban communities.
Over time Coughlans has adapted to change as well as extended its loan services. All the while continuing to uphold the basic principles of a family-run business.
